The early version of the new I-9 which was released late in 2016 had a software problem that caused some issues when filled out online and printed. The problems have been fixed but you will want to go to www.uscis.gov/i-9 to download a new version. If all you do is print you’ll be fine but if you fill them out on a computer then please make sure you have the proper form.
