As reported here a couple weeks ago. The USCIS has announced a new I-9 form will be forthcoming. Today they announced that the form is expected by November 22. Earlier, they had only said sometime in November. The current form can be used until January 21. For January 22 and beyond all new hires, re-hires, etc will need to be done with the new form.

The new form will be an electronically fillable form. We understand there will be a paper version as well but they are preferring the fillable form to be printed out. As soon as the new version is released to the public we will post all the relevant information to this blog.
