One of the myriad of posters employers must have is the Occupational Safety and Health Administration “It’s The Law” poster. This is also known as the OSHA poster because it gives pertanent information regarding the law for employers as it applies to workplace safety and health. As with nearly all of these such posters, this poster is updated from time to time, particularly when something material has changed.

As we’ve reported OSHA has recently updated the rules regarding what types of injuries must be reported to OSHA and the deadlines surrounding these reporting. This was the perfect opportunity for OSHA to update their “IT’S THE LAW” poster. The new poster can be found by following this LINK
or clicking on the picture above.. It can be downloaded and printed on your own printer or you can order one from OSHA by mail. If you print it yourself, make sure you print it on Legal size paper (8.5X14).

While the new OSHA poster is a replacement for the one that has been in place for several years, there is NO REQUIREMENT TO REPLACE. You MUST have either the old one or the new one but you have to replace the old one if it is in good shape.
